In the episode “The Game” of Star Trek: The Next Generation, an addictive game sweeps across the Enterprise, eventually revealing to be part of a plot to incapacitate the crew. First, they finally show how The Dark Knight should have ended, then they recap the Best Picture nominees. What’s sad is that I wouldn’t be surprised if this really happened.
